7. We may disclose personally identifying information through the process of updating Member information in the publicly accessible Voter File.
8. We may also disclose personally identifiable information to third parties in order to comply with court orders or with requests by law enforcement agencies, to enforce our Terms of Use, or to protect the rights, property, safety of our websites and other users of the site.
9. ABM will enable Members to send individual emails through the Site in the Member’s name, and in connection with such emails, ABM may disclose a Member’s email address as the return address to public officials or law enforcement agencies. If a Member writes letters or emails to newspapers or other print or online publications using the Site, ABM may disclose that Member’s email address and full name and contact information as part of the submission.
Data TrackingFrom time to time, ABM may periodically analyze web logs in order to understand traffic patterns and determine whether there are problems with the Site. ABM may also use embedded images in email to track open rates for mailings, so that ABM can tell which mailings appeal most to ABM members. ABM may also use URLs in emails that contain an id enabling ABM to correctly identify the person who takes an action using a webpage. ABM may use those URLs to simplify the process of signing petitions and filling out surveys. ABM may occasionally present a shortened URL that references a longer URL which contains an id in order to prevent links from becoming broken when copied, and to ensure compatibility with email programs which do not handle long URLs. If ABM displays a shortened URL in an email, Member may see the full ABM URL in the browsers address bar when member accesses the page.
